The bespoke subdivision of Rolls-Royce has announced a limited Cullinan edition named Frozen Lakes, which draws inspiration from iced-over water bodies in Siberia, Karelia, the Carpathian Mountains and the Alps.
New exterior finish options include a bluish white and a
deep blue. Both use a special paint with tiny crystals mixed in, and the
company claims the colors resemble the shades of ice found on the lakes in the
regions mentioned above.
The interior can be either white or blue with turquoise
accents. New trim panels imitate ice cracks, and all 3D images inside are
applied by hand using mixes of various colors. Folding tables for the rear seat
occupants also sport a fair amount of styling. A single vehicle takes up to two
weeks to produce.
The steps are illuminated and sport overlays with the
special edition name engraved on them. The Starry Sky ceiling has also been
redesigned to evoke associations with ice ornaments.
The Cullinan Frozen Lakes Edition will be restricted to 14
units sold in Europe.
