2022 Hyundai Venue spotted as the carmaker is testing the compact SUV’s facelift which is scheduled to launch in India in June. The test mule with camouflaged front and rear profile has been spotted by MotorBeam's reader Mohanraj S near Chennai.
The facelifted car will come with a new
grille up front, revised headlamps and bumper. The side profile will remain
unchanged except for the new alloy wheel design you see here. There will be a
sleeker set of tail lamps, tailgate design and new rear bumper design.
The new Venue will be following the latest
design direction that we have seen with the new Tucson and Creta revealed
globally. The interior is also expected to get new changes which might include
new colour tones, updated touchscreen unit and more features to keep up with
the competition.
Engine options will continue to be the
same – 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel with
both automatic and manual transmission options. It will compete with the new
gen Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the likes.
