Mini has launched a host of new accessories for the Cooper S Countryman ALL4 that promise to make it even more well suited to shoppers who love going out on adventures. The Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4 always had a little off-road edge to it and is now more capable than ever. One of the most important upgrades available for it is the new Untamed silver and black 18-inch wheels wrapped in Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires. The British car manufacturer notes that the open design of the tread pattern on the sides of the tires provides additional traction in muddy and wet conditions while also working well on the street.
Accompanying the new set of wheels and
tires is an available folding rear bike rack that can comfortably carry two
mountain bikes. Mini has also created a roof tent for the Cooper S Countryman
ALL4 with the help of Autohome. This tent is housed within a sleek black box
and takes mere seconds to erect. In fact, all you have to do is unlock the box at
the front and back and then gas pressure springs will deploy the tent. A
folding aluminum ladder is also present to provide easy access to the tent.
All of the exterior materials used in the
mobile sleeping space are made of recycled polyester, including the walls of
the roof tent that are made of polyester fibers extracted from recycled PET
bottles taken from the sea. The tent also includes an Ecofoam mattress that is
made of ecological polyurethane.
Mini has not yet announced pricing details
for the new accessories. The introduction of these off-road accessories comes
just six weeks after the Mini Cooper S Countryman range was updated in the
United States with the launch of the ‘Untamed Edition.’ This model sports the
same 18-inch Untamed wheels that are available overseas but don’t sport the
Grabber AT3 tires.
