Hyundai Creta Knight Edition and 1.5 petrol IMT

 

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has added a special Creta Knight Edition to the mix that brings a variety of cosmetic changes. The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is available in the S+ and SX(O) trims, with both petrol and diesel engines. Prices for the Knight Edition start at Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Externally, the Knight Edition sports an all-black theme. The grille is all black and sports a red accent. The front and rear skid plates are in glossy black, along with the roof rails, ORVMs and side sills. The rear gets Knight Edition badging, along with black tail lamp inserts while the front brake callipers are finished in red colour. The car is available with dark finish alloys, in 16-inch for the S+ and 17-inch for the SX(O).

Inside, the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition gets an all-black theme replacing the 1.5 petrol and 1.5 diesel's black-beige look, with red accents on the aircon vents, and red colour stitching on the seats and steering similar to what is offered on the 1.4 turbo petrol variant. The major updates to the Creta for 2022 include a host of new features like a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, rear disc brakes, ESC, hill-start assist, paddle shifters, metal pedals, electric folding ORVMs and more on the S+ trim. Tyre pressure monitoring system is standard across the range and glossy black central console on SX(O) trim is also available.

 

The Hyundai Creta is now available with the iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) with the 1.5-litre Petrol engine for the first time, adding another transmission option to the mix in addition to the manual, DCT, CVT, torque converter available with the 1.5 petrol, 1.4 turbo petrol and the 1.5 diesel engine options. Additionally, the 1.4-litre turbo petrol with the 7-speed DCT will be offered in the S+ trim.

The Hyundai Creta 1.5 petrol IMT S is priced at Rs 12.84 lakh (ex-showroom). With the addition of the Knight Edition, Hyundai Creta is now priced between Rs 10.44 lakh and Rs 18.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
