KTM has not only released interesting motorcycles, but the Austrian manufacturer has also released new products, namely the STACYC 18eDrive Factory Edition and 20eDrive Factory Edition electric bicycles. Both bikes are made especially for children, and have a body made of aluminum. Then combined with front suspension fork models for 18eDrive and Manitou J-Unit with a swing distance of 80 mm for 20eDrive.
Then the driving force is a lithium-ion
battery with a capacity of 3 Ah with a charging time of 1.5 hours. The battery
can also be removed quickly, and the usage time is about 30-45 minutes. 18eDrive
is intended for children aged 8-10 years up to a child weighing 52 kg. The
overall weight of the bike is 14 kg, uses 18-inch tires, 19-inch aluminum
handlebars, and Hayes Dominion brakes with 160mm front and 140mm disc brakes at
the rear. 20eDrive can be used for children 10-12 years, weighing 52 kg. While
the overall weight of the bike is 15 kg, has 20-inch tires, and the same size
handlebars and brakes as the 18eDrive version.
Each of these bikes has three ride modes
that can be adjusted from the throttle section. These three modes consist of
Training mode, Transitional mode, and Advanced mode. The finishing of the bike
also applies the typical orange color of KTM FACTORY RACING This mode itself
provides different maximum speeds, for the 18eDrive Training mode version it
can reach 14.5 kph, Transitional mode up to 22 km/h, and Advanced mode can reach
a maximum speed of 29 km/h. 20eDrive is slightly faster, namely Training mode
with a speed of 16 kph, Transitional mode can penetrate 24 km/h, and Advanced
mode up to 32 km/h.
About the price, the KTM 18eDrive is
priced at US$ 2650, while the 20eDrive version is US$ 3,200.
