Even as Maserati continues preparing its 1,200-horsepower GranTurismo Folgore EV for its market debut, it still stays true to ICE cars. Quite soon, the marque will be unveiling the next-gen GranTurismo.
The latest spy photos show the car begin
driven around in a blue, white and black wrap that looks very old and visibly
frayed in places. Still, the exterior doesn’t seem like the most interesting
part at all.
It is the cabin that has the most to show.
Despite some distracting reflections on the glass, you can still discern a
large infotainment display divided in two by a non-sensor control panel. There
is a clock face in the middle of the dash panel, and the overall layout seems
very similar to that of the Maserati Grecale.
Rumor has it the new GranTurismo will
utilize the 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 powering the MC20. The Italian automaker uses
the same engine in the Grecale Trofeo as well, albeit dialed down to 530 PS and 620 Nm of torque.
