Harley-Davidson’s eBike brand, Serial 1, recently unveiled its second generation of products and it has partnered with Google for them. The /CTY and BASH/MTN eBikes combine connectivity with two-wheeled expertise. Capable of going up to 45 km/h in its fastest RUSH/CTY Speed trim, the BASH/MTN off-road version can go up to 32 km/h thanks to a motor that produces 90 Nm of torque, which is more than early some Karman Ghias could muster. In that mountain biking guise, it will be limited to just 1,050 examples, with 525 going to the U.S. and the remaining 525 allocated for sale in Europe. In either case, it does not feature a suspension.

Don’t worry, the duty of absorbing jumps doesn’t come down entirely to your coccyx. Instead, the bike gets big Michelin E-Wild tires and, more to the point, a shock-absorbing SR Suntour NCX suspension seat post. It also gets extra-strong four-piston TRP hydraulic disc brakes and a Yucca Tan paint finish with graffiti graphics.

The standard bike, meanwhile, gets more street-focused amenities and the manufacturer has partnered with Google to add several connected features. Owners can find their bike wherever they are in the world thanks to “Pinpoint Mode.” Route planning is also made easier with turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps, and you can get a post-ride summary of your efforts as a result of real-time data that is being collected by the tech company. The bike also features an integrated USB-C charger to charge your phone while you ride.

Most trim levels (BASH/MTN, RUSH/CTY Step-thru, and the MOSH/CTY) get a 529 Wh removable battery, while the RUSH/CTY Speed has a 706 Wh unit. Prices run from US$ 3,799 for the stripped-down MOSH/CTY to US$ 5,599 for the high-performance RUSH/CTY Speed. The RUSH/CTY Step-Thru, meanwhile, costs US$ 4,999 and the BASH/MTN rings in at US$ 3,999.
