Kia has taken the wraps off its restyled Seltos SUV meant for the domestic market. Aside from revised exterior and cabin, the car once again ships with the old 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and a modified 1.6-liter turbo. The orders are already being taken yesterday.

All design changes have been previewed before. There are new bumpers, radiator grille and lighting, to name just a few. The wheels are also different and now available in sizes up to 18 inches. The latter is reserved for a special trim called Gravity, which also includes black-out exterior parts.

Inside, the main novelty is a two-display cluster formed from 10.25-inch dash and infotainment screens. The dash panel also houses a new HVAC control panel, and the old gear lever makes room for a dial. In its most basic form, the 2023 Seltos uses a 2.0-liter non-turbo engine rated at 149 PS and 179 Nm in tandem with a previously unavailable eight-speed automatic transmission. Higher specs benefit from the familiar 1.6-liter turbo engine on board, now boosted to 198 PS and 265 Nm of torque. The transmission is seven-speed DCT in this case with no other options, but you can at least choose between 2WD and AWD.

Rounding off the list of changes is an extended driver assist package with several new features, like driver’s seat memory and smart power-assisted tailgate. Prices start from 20.62 million South Korean Won.
