Ford’s marketing team hears release the new special series Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Edition variants of the Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs. Both pay tribute to the original 1966 Bronco with their colors and design cues while in another nod to the classic model, each of the special edition models will be limited to 1,966 units.

The entire 2023 Bronco family benefits from a special color palette including the Robin’s Egg Blue, the Peak Blue, and the Yellowstone Metallic which will be exclusive to the Heritage Limited Edition. All exterior shades are combined with an Oxford White paint for the roof, grille, lettering, graphics, and heritage alloy wheels.

Starting with the Bronco Heritage which comes in both two-door and four-door bodystyles, it gets a new set of 17-inch aluminum wheels, combined with squared-off fender flairs from the Bronco Everglades, a standard powder-coated steel bumper, the duo-tone paint, and a white stripe on the profile. The Bronco Heritage Limited has different 17-inch alloy wheels with gloss-black “dog-dish” centers and Oxford White rings. Inside the cabin, the seats are upholstered in either cloth (Heritage) or leather/vinyl (Heritage Limited), the dashboard is painted in Oxford White and the center console has race red accents (Heritage Limited).

The Bronco Heritage is fitted with the 2.3 EcoBoost engine producing 300 hp and 441 Nm of torque, while the Bronco Heritage Limited gets the more powerful 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 330 hp and 563 Nm of torque. The optional Sasquatch Package adds the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) 2.0 system featuring Bilstein position-sensitive dampers and increased ride height, plus the 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires and the Dana front and rear electronic locking axles.

Moving on to the unibody SUV, the Bronco Sport Heritage sits on Oxford White 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the Heritage Limited benefits from the grippier 29-inch all-terrain tires. Inside, the Heritage is filled with Navy Pier accents, while the Heritage Limited is distinguished by the leather seats and the unique touches on the center console.

The Bronco Sport Heritage comes fitted with 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine producing 181 hp and 258 Nm of torque, while the Heritage Limited gets the stronger 2.0-liter EcoBoost producing 248 hp and 376 Nm. The H.O.S.S. system offers increased ride height and an off-road-focused suspension setup set to improve off-road comfort in combination with the 4×4 system and the G.O.A.T. modes of the Terrain Management System.
