Land Rover is taking things up a notch by unveiling the exclusive Range Rover SV Carmel Edition at Monterey Car Week. Designed specifically for the North American market, the Range Rover SV Carmel Edition was created by SV Bespoke and will be limited to a mere 17 units. Each model costs US$ 345,000 and pays homage to the “beauty of the Carmel Coast.” The special edition has an exclusive Satin Bronze exterior with 23-inch diamond turned wheels that feature matching Satin Bronze accents. They’re joined by SV Bespoke puddle lamps, which illuminate the ground at night.
While the exterior is eye-catching, the
interior is the star of the show as it features Liberty Blue front seats and
contrasting Caraway rear seats. Speaking of the seats, they’re separated by a
full length center console and rear passengers will find an electrically
powered Club Table, electrically deployable cup holders, and an integrated
refrigerator with SV-etched Dartington Crystal glassware.
The special touches don’t end there as the
Carmel Edition has Gloss White ceramic controls as well as Satin White ceramic
finishers with an embossed mosaic. Other highlights include special sill plates
and rear seats with Carmel Edition embroidery. Power is provided by a twin-turbo
4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 523 hp and 749
Nm of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a
standard all-wheel drive system.
The Range Rover SV Carmel Edition is being
offered exclusively to guests of the Range Rover House and buyers will receive
two sets of custom-fitted golf clubs from Titleist. They’ll also be helping the
environment as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Monterey Bay
National Marine Sanctuary.
