BMW is currently busy turning the M4 model into a special edition called the CSL Hommage. This necessitates rigorous track testing.
The CSL Hommage shown here wears a
funny-looking camo wrap decorating with high-end BMW cars of the past, whether
road-legal or pure track tools. There are also captions like “6MT FTW”
(six-speed manual transmission for the win, a clear hint that you will be able
to row your own gears), “Insanely epic” and “I like a donut”.
The front fascia doesn’t lack for massive
air openings, there is a rear wing in the back, and four large exhaust pipes
exit from under the rear bumper. Rumor has it the special edition will be
producing 600 PS and 700 Nm of torque. Allegedly,
it will be enough to sprint 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and top out at
320 km/h.
It is also expected that MW will limit
production to just 50 units.
