Automaker Chery said nothing about the Tiggo 3x Plus getting an update, but the recent patent images show what unmistakably looks like the next generation of that car.
The outlines stay recognizable, but the details resemble those of the manufacturer’s other production model, the Omoda 5 SUV. The similarities are especially obvious if you look at the radiator grille, the merged taillights, the quasi-levitating roof and the tailpipes.
The current generation of the Chery Tiggo 3x Plus costs between 49,900 and 68,900 Yuan in China. It is 4,200 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,570 mm tall with 2,555 mm between the axles. Its 1.5-liter naturally aspirate engine drives the wheels with 116 PS via a five-speed manual gearbox, although CVT is another option.
