Chevrolet continues working on the first electrified Corvette in history, testing multiple vehicles in various countries across Europe. A recent bunch of spy shots offers a close look at the car’s interior.
The images reveal two bucket seats
finished in exposed carbon, a fully digital dash gauge cluster, a
multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters, and door panels with red
accents on them. If you squint, you can discern a couple of extra wires on the
center console and a switch – typical signs of test equipment used in
pre-production cars.
According to the latest rumors, the E-Ray
will come powered by dual electric motors mounted on the front axle to assist
the main LT2 V8 engine. This setup should enable the car to drive all four
wheels with a combined output of 608 PS or more.
The model should be revealed in full
before the end of the year, so stay tuned.
