The Fiat Argo hatchback, its high-riding Argo Trekking cousin and the Cronos sedan have all been lightly refreshed on the Latin American market, losing some powertrain options in the process.

The sedan only had its radiator grille modified slightly with the addition of another chrome bar. The five-door duo had the grille completely redesigned with the same chrome strip added, and the Argo hatchback had a new front bumper installed. Color options and wheel designs were also revised, but that’s about it.

Inside, novelty boils down to a steering wheel with a smaller hub. The rest stays the same, including wallet-friendly analog gauges and a tiny touchscreen display in the middle.

Perhaps most importantly, all three models can now be obtained with only one engine. The Argo makes use of a 1.0-liter engine rated at 77 PS, while the Trekking and the Cronos benefit from a 1.3-liter engine good for 99 PS. All three ship with a five-speed manual gearbox by default, and the sedan is unique in that it also has Aisin CVT listed under options. The manufacturer blames chip shortage for the smaller engine selection.
