The Haval X Dog Concept debuted two springs ago, but its final production version called the KuGou (‘Cool Dog’) hasn’t arrived until now.
Prices in China begin from the equivalent
of US$ 18,700. For their money, clients receive six airbags and two 12.3-inch
displays on the dashboard serving as the digital gauge cluster and the
infotainment interface. Hardware buttons are kept to a minimum, and switching
gears occurs with the help of a Tank 300-style joystick.
Paid options include two-tone interior
trim, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and power-assisted front seats. The
top trim level nets you an advanced audio system with speakers built into the
seat backs.
As far as the power options are concerned,
there is only one gasoline turbo engine on offer. In its most basic form, it
delivers 150 PS and 218 Nm of torque, but
receives a push to 184 PS and 275 Nm in higher
specs. There is also the choice between FWD and AWD.
