While Porsche is busy testing its badass 911 GT3 RS racer, enthusiasts continue looking for ways to tweak the standard GT3. A recent body kit from TechArt should come in handy here.
Inspired by the big motorsports, the kit
incorporates a front lip, bumper/apron extensions, wheel arch extensions and
fenders that are 15 mm wider than stock, lower side sills and a lower
apron extension for the tail-end. Everything listed here is made of carbon
fiber and can be installed in a seamless, surgery-free fashion using OEM
mounting points.
The centerpiece of the whole new look is the towering and complex rear wing. TechArt admits that the term
we want to use here is ‘spoiler’, though, as it does very little to change the
aerodynamic formula of the car.
Also on offer are an active-valve exhaust
system and a whole range of FIA-approved cabin upgrades for the track day
crowd.
