The fifth production year of the Lynk & Co 03 sees it get a mid-generational refresh aimed at keeping sales high in China. The sedan holds onto its signature design, but makes use of a totally new, more aggressive-looking body kit. The bumpers, headlights and air intakes have all been restyled. The stripe connecting the taillights is now lit, and so is the badge in its middle. The lower rear apron houses two massive exhaust tips – not fakes, by the look of it.

The interior is also all-new, from the door panels to the screens and the center console. The displays grew up in diagonal size and lost their common sun visor. Hardware buttons on the front panel are very nearly extinct.

In the powertrain department, the entry-spec turbocharged three-pot rated at 180 PS is no longer available. As such, wallet-minded buyers must now consider the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine option, which gained 28 horsepower thanks to the update and now produces 218 PS. The plug-in hybrid that used to make 262 PS in its old implementation is also available, but its updated stats remain to be revealed. Last but not least, the Lynk & Co 03+ spec remains on offer with its usual 265 PS.
