A look at the 2023 Changan Uni-T spotted on the roads today suggests that the updated car will get a revised digital cockpit along with only minor exterior changes. The nose also looks different, but camouflage prevents us from drawing any definitive conclusions. The cabin, on the other hand, is largely camo-free and sports an all-new infotainment system. The steering wheel, seats, center tunnel and door panels look unchanged.
In its current design iteration, the Uni-T comes with two
merged 12.3-inch displays. The facelift sees it get a giant multimedia display
possibly sized above 15 inches across, plus a standalone dash screen. The
dedicated HVAC control panel is also nowhere to be seen.
AutoHome believes the powertrain options will remain the
same. This implies a choice between two turbocharged engines: a 1.5-liter TFSI
rated at 188 PS and its 2.0-liter counterpart capable of 233
PS. The transmission is eight-speed automatic in both cases.
