The Chinese brand Tank is very actively developing its model range. Next in line is the appearance of a large frame SUV Tank 700. New details appeared. Firstly, the car received serial headlights, and they completely repeat what we saw on the concept car. The concept was shown at the Shanghai Auto Show a year earlier. If we compare it with the prototype, then in the silhouette we see a flat rather than a sloping roof.
The rearview mirrors have grown in size,
and the wheel arches have received a slightly different shape. The decision
regarding the rear window seemed interesting – there was no wiper on it. If we
talk about the interior, it is worth noting the similarity with the concept
car.
But the screen of the multimedia complex
turned out to be quite large. On the right side of the body, there is a hatch
for refueling with gasoline, and the Tank 700 runs on AI-95 fuel. And on the
left side, there is a charging port, which indicates a modification of the PHEV
or a plug-in hybrid.
The power plant is based on a motor with a
working volume of 3.0 liters, and the combined output together with the
electric motor reaches an impressive 517 hp. This configuration should ensure
maximum fuel economy. A version with a “soft” hybrid will also be available,
although the power here is much less – only 360 hp.
