Dongfeng has unveiled the next entry in its Warrior lineup dedicated to military off-road vehicles. Called the M20, the chassis lends itself to various truck bed/trailer styles, but the company has yet to show those.

The cab is spacious enough to sit three people in the Single version, and powered access steps should make getting in and out easy. A winch is mounted under the bumper, and the vehicle otherwise looks rather utilitarian with its unpainted plastic aesthetic and total lack of chrome.

The front axle uses leaf-spring suspension, while the rear axle looks like it has springs installed. The inter-axle spacing is 3.7 meters, and the whole chassis can be either 5.85 or 6.18 meters long depending on the modification. The wheels are pretty large with the tire size at 295/65 R20, but they manage to look small in the huge arches. The maximum total weight of the car is estimated at 5.9 metric tons, or 13,000 pounds.

Powering the truck chassis is a 6.7-liter diesel engine rated at 314 PS and 1,200 Nm of torque. Dongfeng installs the same engine in its full-size trucks and big rigs.
