The TechArt GTstreet R is one of the most outlandish Porsche 911-based models out there and thanks to a collaboration with a Filipino artist, the tuner has unveiled an especially unique example. The GTstreet R in question is currently on display at the Manila Auto Salon and features an exterior with artwork from multi-media artist Ronald Ventura. While all of the exterior body panels are identical to a standard GTstreet R, many of them now feature eye-catching black graphics.
This is particularly obvious along the
sides where a black pattern stretches up and along the doors but is most
obvious with the hood. Ventura has painted an incredible portrait of a tiger’s
face complete with bright yellow eyes to match the rest of the car’s exterior.
TechArt hasn’t said if this GTstreet R is
owned by Ventura or another enthusiast who lives in the Philippines. Whatever
the case may be, it would be a very good idea for the owner to have a clear
protective film applied across the hood to ensure it doesn’t deteriorate if
left outside. TechArt’s GTstreet R is based around the Porsche 911 Turbo and
Turbo S models and features a new front splitter, redesigned hood, front fender
louvers, a carbon fiber rear wing, a redesigned rear bumper, and a carbon fiber
diffuser.
The German tuner also went to town on the
powertrain of the Porsche, equipping the 3.8-liter flat-six with new turbochargers
and upgraded software so it now delivers up to 789 hp and 950 Nm of
torque. A version with 700 hp and 900 Nm of torque is also
available. The interior of a 911 that goes through the complete GTstreet R
transformation is also heavily upgraded with new leather and interior parts.
Just 87 examples of the 992-based GTstree
tR are bound for the production line with prices for the upgrades starting at
€ 73,000 (US$ 75,974).
