RAM is set to kick off 2023 with a brand new special edition called the Havoc. Aside from its very bright Baja Yellow paint job, it’s one of the most well-equipped RAM trucks in history. And it should be considering an eye-watering MSRP of US$ 104,445. For that six-figure price tag, buyers get the first production yellow TRX in history along with 18-inch bead-lock-capable wheels, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a spray-in bedliner, cargo tie-downs, a bed step, and an LED cab-mounted brake light.
The cabin is appointed with Prowler Yellow
stitching, unique carbon fiber accents, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and
embroidered TRX seatback logos. Even the driver information screen shows the
TRX in Baja Yellow to complete the package. A special center console badge will
signify the limited and special nature of the Havoc Edition. Safety equipment
includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and pedestrian emergency
braking. What buyers won’t get is any more horsepower. The supercharged V8
under the hood continues to develop 702 hp. The real draw to the TRX
Havoc Edition is simply standing out from other TRX models.
The configurator isn’t live either but
what we can confirm is that the other two special edition versions of the TRX,
the Sandblast, and the Ignition are similarly priced. In addition, they all
include the Level 2 Equipment group which includes a number of desirable
features. The big standout, other than the name, is the paint color and the
interior stitching color.
RAM won’t say how many Havoc Edition
examples are up for sale. It simply states that they’ll be available in “very
limited quantities” in early 2023. We bet most buyers will probably get stuck
with big markups on these ‘limited editions’ too.
