The countdown to CES continues and Cenntro will be using the event to unveil the all-new Logistar 300 (LS300). Billed as a Class 3 electric commercial vehicle, the model will be offered in van and truck configurations.  The company didn’t say much about them, but noted the van features four doors, while the truck can be “upfitted with different configurations that can meet the needs for multiple applications.” That isn’t much to go on, but the company released a low-res teaser image that shows the van has an undeniable Mercedes Sprinter vibe.  As you can see, it features angular front side glass, a tall roof, and black cladding.  We can also get a glimpse of what appears to be a nearly vertical front bumper.

Besides releasing the teaser image, Cenntro said the Logistar 300 will come equipped with a 118 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack that will allow for a range of 439 km.  The company didn’t say how powerful the electric motor is, but noted the vehicle will have a top speed of 121 km/h. The Logistar 300 will be built in Jacksonville, Florida and Freehold, New Jersey.  Production is slated to begin in the third quarter of 2023 with deliveries beginning shortly thereafter.

Besides showcasing the Logistar 300, the company is planning to stage five world premieres at CES.  Cenntro didn’t go into specifics, but the automaker has previously announced plans to show their first hydrogen-powered vehicle in Las Vegas. That particular model is known as the Logimax 864 (LMH864) and it’s a Class 8 semi designed for short- and long-haul applications.  It features multiple electric motors, “high-efficiency sustainable hydrogen fuel cells,” and eight 210 liter hydrogen storage tanks.

The Logimax 864 will arrive in the third quarter of 2023 and the semi is slated to be offered in Europe as well as North America.
