Mercedes-Maybach took the wraps off its latest limited edition model, which is inspired by the haute couture world of fashion. The automaker will produce just 150 of the elegantly appointed luxury sedans that it’s calling the “Haute Voiture.” Based on the Maybach S 680, the exterior of the new model is characterized by its two-tone paint finish. The vehicles will all be painted a nautical metallic blue on top, with a rose tone on the lower section. The wheels complement the design, and are painted the same blue as the top section.

That color palette continues inside, along with golds and beiges, and that’s where the haute couture inspiration of the vehicle really shines. A high-quality blue and gold bouclé fabric is the centerpiece of the interior, covering the trim sections of the interior, in addition to the intricate detailing within the seat cushions and on the pillows.

Crystal white leather on the seats, the consoles, and the doors welcomes passengers into sumptuous luxury. The floor mats, meanwhile, are made of linen and mohair, and the champagne flutes are rose gold colored. The ceiling features a recurring Mercedes three-point star pattern. The MBUX infotainment system, is also updated for this model with sparkling glitter clouds and accents in shimmering rose gold that greet the occupants as they enter. The avatars within the system’s profile selection menu are dressed in their Sunday best, too, wearing jackets, tailcoats, and evening gowns.

Those who buy the S 680 Haute Voiture will also be treated to a hand-made gift box that features the car’s badge number, a scale model, and a key ring. It also contains a special car cover featuring the Maybach and Haute Voiture logo. Customers looking to really round out the look are also welcome to buy the car’s matching bag set, which will be sold online and at luxury stores around the world. The limited edition bags will feature many of the same design and material choices as the car itself.
