2023 Tata Safari facelift spotted testing recently with camouflage. The prototype doesn’t seem to carry any visual updates but it seems the carmaker is testing the ADAS tech of the vehicle. In terms of styling the updated model is expected to come with mild tweaks on the exterior and interior both. We can expect some new headlight details, revised grille, bumper and the likes. The Indian carmaker might also come up with new colour options to make the SUV look fresh.
The interior should get new design
elements for the dashboard. We hope Tata Motors replaces the current
touchscreen infotainment system with a larger unit that has a better UI as
well. Apart from the ADAS, we can expect some more features like 360 degree
camera, powered tailgate, etc.
It will continue to be offered with the
Fiat sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168 BHP with 350 Nm torque. It
is mated to 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. Tata should also
consider introducing a turbo petrol engine with the SUV to cater to a wider
audience.
