CAKE, the Swedish maker of premium lightweight, electric motorcycles today unveiled the Bukk, a new off-road platform, designed for trail and track use. The Bukk performance is equivalent to the A2 classification and continues CAKE’s commitment to accelerate the transition towards a zero emission society, combining excitement with responsibility. The Bukk is a category-leading motorcycle, weighing in at 85 kg and offering a top-notch power-to-weight ratio. It has been entirely engineered and manufactured from the ground up, including the creation of new and unique tooling.

The frame, suspension, and components are all brand new and made from the lightest and most carefully selected alloys, making the Bukk a new performance category. The drivetrain, featuring a 72V battery and 16kW motor, delivers 420 Nm of electric torque and a top speed of over 100 km/h. There are three ride modes available, providing a range of riding styles. Combined with WP and Öhlins-tuned suspension, the Bukk delivers exceptional agility, control, and speed on trails and tracks without emitting any pollution.

The Bukk is also equipped with a 2.9 kWh interchangeable battery that can charge up to 80% in just 100 minutes, while a full charge takes about 150 minutes. For the legs, the Bukk is equipped with a 43mm Cone Valve shock with a 19-inch fork, while the rear is fitted with a special S46 shock with an 18-inch fork. For safety, the Cake Bukk is equipped with a 260mm front disc brake with a four-piston caliper and a 220mm rear disc brake with a two-piston caliper. In addition, the brakes can be electronically adjusted with three different modes. Power can also be electronically adjusted, with three different riding modes available on the Bukk. Ergonomically, the seat height is set at 965mm when the bike is lowered, and the wheelbase is 1,360mm.
