The V09 MPV just debuted as the fourth model of the Haycan brand. It is the first MPV to use an 800V battery and is based on the H-GEA architecture. Let’s talk about the design. Hycan V09 applies the independently developed vector design concept to create the "Shining Star" shape, which breaks the square form of traditional MPVs and presents futuristic lines - that’s the official language from the company. In terms of styling, the Hycan V09 is meant to be a breakthrough. It surely breaks some norms, and it will take some getting used to.

The signature piercing LED daytime running lights have been incorporated into the front fascia of the new vehicle. The brand logo can be illuminated at the same time as the daytime running lights. According to the company, the front of the car gives off the impression that it is moving quickly due to the broad and excessive chrome design on both sides. According to pretty much everyone else, it looks like it was moving way too fast and already met a brick wall.

 

When viewing it from the side, the line of the roof is quite straight, and the rear end has a full width LED tail light. In addition, the Hechuang V09 is outfitted with the newly upgraded H-VIP 3.0 intelligent driving interconnection system. This system employs a high-power AI chip and an integrated domain controller for travel and parking. It is also outfitted with 24 high-precision sensors that are able to detect every detail around the car, and it comes with as many as 37 driving assistance capabilities provided by ADAS. The Hechuang Hycan V09 will also be the first mass-produced MPV model in the world to be equipped with LiDAR. It will have a maximum detection distance of up to 300 meters, an angular resolution of the ROI area (intelligent focus field of view) of 0.15 degrees by 0.17 degrees, and a long-distance high-definition imaging system. The capacity of high-precision detection offers a more advanced assisted driving at levels higher than L2.

The Hechuang Hycan V09 is outfitted with a pair of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processors. One single SOC has the potential to achieve 105 thousand DMIPS in terms of its computational capability. As well as safety, it is also able to support the entertainment experience, and information interaction of numerous displays inside the vehicle, and it is also able to support connections between additional functions and scenes. All models in the Hechuang V09 series come standard with an 800V battery system. The most basic model has a maximum charging capacity of 158 kW and is fitted with a high-energy-density nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary lithium battery cell that has a power-to- weight ratio of 257 Wh/kg - the company did not provide the actual capacity.

The maximum power that can be sustained during rapid charging is 380 kW. The 5 minutes of charging will add 200 kilometers of range, and the battery is capable of delivering more than 750 kilometers of driving on a full charge. In addition, the company said that it would debut the Hechuang V09 Razer Edition in cooperation with the gaming hardware manufacturer Razer. The new vehicle will be constructed on the basis of the standard model, and it will be outfitted with the Lingblade laptop from Razer, a 165Hz refresh rate e-sports display device, Chroma lighting with special effects, THX spatial sound effect support, and a variety of the most advanced add-ons and accessories for video games.
