It’s been almost four months since the new-age Maserati GranTurismo was unveiled and finally, the automaker has launched the online configurator for the car on both its U.S. and Italian websites. In Italy, the GranTurismo’s configuration tool allows you to build the car in Folgore, Modena, and Trofeo guises whereas in the U.S., only the ICE-powered Modena and Trofeo are available. The Italian configurator also reveals that the GranTurismo Modena will be available from € 181,200 (US$ 196,981), while pricing for the GranTurismo Trofeo kicks off from € 226,200 (US$ 245,900). No starting price for the electric Folgore is mentioned.
When diving into the U.S. configurator, we
opted for the flagship GranTurismo Trofeo where you can select between one of
seven available exterior colors. With the exception of Blu Emozione (pictured),
all of them are shades of white, silver or black. With the paint selected, you
can choose between two different wheel designs, consisting of the Pegaso Design
wheels in Glossy Black or Gloss Black Diamond Cut guises and the Astreo Design
wheels with a Glossy Dark forged finish or a Matte Dark forged finish. All
wheel options measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.
The final piece of the exterior that can
be personalized is the brake calipers, available in black, red, yellow, or
blue. Then we come to the cabin which can be configured in either Nero (black),
Rosso (red), or Ghiacco (white) with different contrast stitching. We’ve gone
with Ghiacco which doesn’t just extend across the seats and dashboard but also
the pillars and headliner.
Various packages are also available for
the Maserati. These include the Sport Design Package with lightweight sport
pedals, an aluminum footrest, and extended full-grain perforated leather, the
Tech Assistance Package with a frameless digital rearview mirror, and a Comfort
Package that adds ventilated front seats and extended full-grain perforated
leather. The final two packages offered are the ADAS Full Package and the ADAS
Base Package, adding various driver-assistance systems.
Finally, in terms of individual options,
you have a 19-speaker Sonus Faber premium sound system, alarm system, head up
display, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler.
