The seventh generation of the Ford Mustang has already been introduced, but we never found out what the cheapest trim looked like. These spy shots provide a good look at it and also shed light on other essential differences between the entry and the top specs.

Before you begin browsing, take a close look at the two standalone displays. One of them serves as the digital dashboard and the other one as the multimedia screen. The premium trim revealed earlier had both displays combined in a single ensemble, but they are actually separate in the base spec. Ford stated before that the driver’s display was 12.4 inches large and the head unit measured 13.2 inches across.

The cost-cutting Mustang trades leather on the seats and door panels for fabric, but retains faux carbon fiber trim on the middle of the dash panel and on the center console.

The new Ford Mustang is slated to go on sale in late 2023.
