Electric bicycles are everywhere nowadays and one of the important players in the space, ENGWE, has just unveiled its latest electric bike dubbed the M20. Powering the M20 is a pair of battery packs on the frame that can be easily removed for recharging. These batteries each provide a range of 75 km and drive an electric motor in the hub. This motor can sustain 750W of power or up to 1000W of power when it’s needed.
ENGWE says that it took inspiration from
flying fish when designing and developing the M20 and notes that it can handle
all kinds of terrain. It’s also quite fast, capable of powering through to 45 km/h and can climb hills of up to 10 degrees. It is available in
either Black, White, or Green. A host of other important features come standard
on the M20. These include a dual-suspension setup, off-road-focused tires, 7
gears, and a small LCD screen that displays important data including speed,
battery capacity, mileage, and more.
An M20 equipped with two batteries will
set back U.S. buyers US$ 1,599 while the single battery variant is available for US$ 1,299, although both are currently being offered at a US$ 150 discount and with a US$ 50 coupon if you sign up to ENGWE’s mailing list.
