Skoda Slavia and Kushaq have now got the new Lava Blue colour option. However, this is not just a new colour addition but it comes with a special edition variant for both the cars. These editions are called Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition and Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition. Price starts from Rs. 17.27 lakhs (ex-showroom).
While the Slavia Anniversary edition is
positioned above the Style variant. The Kushaq Lava Blue edition is positioned
between the Style and Monte Carlo variant. These editions will be available
only with the 1.5-litre TSI engine option that will be offered with both MT and
DSG transmission options.
Both the cars are sprinkled with chrome
detailing on the grille, lower part of the doors and the trunk. The Slavia gets
‘Anniversary Edition’ branding on the C-pillar while the Kushaq comes with
’Edition’ plaquette at the B-pillar. The Slavia comes with ‘Anniversary
Edition’ scuff plate along with badging on the steering wheel. Aluminium pedals
are offered in this special edition.
In the Kushaq, the scuff plates get Kushaq
inscription and puddle lamp in each of its doors that project a Skoda logo. The
RDE emission norm update has improved the fuel efficiency by upto 5 percent in
the Slavia and upto 7 percent in the Kushaq.
