The part-electric Geely Galaxy L6 sedan is only set to debut in the third quarter of the year, but CarNewsChina got ahold of spy shots showing it running around not wearing any disguise. All the latest design trends – pull-out door handles, merged taillights, slim headlights and a liftback-like silhouette – are present. Inside, we expect to see a large infotainment system display and a quad-spoke steering wheel.

It seems likely that Geely’s new sedan will utilize the company’s innovative powertrain known as the NordThor Hybrid 8848. It combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with two electric motors to produce 390 PS in the base spec and 649 PS in Performance spec.

Galaxy is yet another sub-brand created by Geely specifically for hybrids and EVs. Its plans for the new few years involve releasing seven different models in total, focusing on sedans and assorted crossover SUVs.
