The Ministry of Industry and IT of China has published the first photos of the upcoming Chevrolet Equinox facelift. Motor1 believes a similar version of it will reach the North American market as a model of year 2025.
Compared to the pre-facelift version, the
refreshed SUV sports a different front end with headlights now looking more
like those on the latest Blazer and Trax models. The side glass received a
major overhaul, too, and the taillights became L-shaped.
In China, the new Equinox has been
patented with only one engine so far, a 1.5-liter turbo capable of 170 PS. The top speed is specified at 190 km/h. The U.S.
counterpart has not been announced yet, and the date of debut remains unknown.
