FAW has refreshed the Bestune B70 liftback inside and out, AutoHome reports adding that the official premiere remains scheduled for December. It looks like the front end has changed the most with tiered headlights, slim DRLs at the top and extra lights in both sides of the bumper. The radiator grille is also new with different horizontal bars, while the hood looks intact.
A glance at the rear end reveals new
taillights and light patterns, a design that necessitated reworking the rear
fenders and the tailgate accordingly. With these purely aesthetic changes, the
car has become 45 mm longer, for a total of 4,855 mm.
The interior layout has been preserved
overall, but the large touch-sensitive HVAC panel has disappeared and the large
transmission selector has made room for a much smaller one.
FAW has not announced any powertrain
changes yet. In China, the pre-facelift Bestune B70 comes equipped
with either a 1.5-liter engine rated at 169 PS or a 2.0-liter
one capable of 224 PS.
