Hispano Suiza will celebrate their 120th anniversary next year by unveiling the all-new Sagrera. Named after the ‘La Sagrera’ district of Barcelona, where Hispano Suiza built a factory in the early 1910’s, the model will be an “evolution” of the Carmen. However, it apparently won’t replace that car as the company said the Sagrera will complete their range as well as join the Carmen and Carmen Boulogne.

That’s not much to go on, but the company confirmed the model will have a 103 kWh battery pack. The automaker also teased an “important evolution in terms of aerodynamics.” Hispano Suiza went on to say the “Sagrera has been created to keep the legend alive, taking performance, sportiness and passion for luxury to a whole new level.”

Hispano Suiza CEO Sergio Martínez Campos echoed those sentiments and said the car “lays the foundations for the design line that the brand will follow in the coming years. I can’t reveal too many details yet, but the Sagrera is here to continue fulfilling our clients’ wishes: they asked us [for] a car like this, and to continue to be unique.” As a refresher, Hispano Suiza started making cars at the turn of the century and produced more than 12,000 vehicles between 1904 and 1946. The company was eventually ‘reborn’ in 2019 with the unveiling of the Carmen. It was followed by the Carmen Boulogne one year later.
