Porsche has unveiled the third generation of its Panamera model. The shipments in Europe are scheduled to start in March 2024. At 5,052 x 1,938 x 1,422 millimeters large, the vehicle stays nearly unchanged in size from the old generation. The main novelty is a new trim version called Executive, which adds roughly 200 mm to the total body length.

Other than that, the manufacturer claims that all body panels are new, but they look almost the same as before. As for the aerodynamic kit, its design varies based on the powertrain chosen. Matrix LEDs are now included in the base spec.

There are as many as three main displays on the dash: the instrument cluster, the infotainment and a new 10.9-inch front passenger’s display. The transmission tunnel looks different with a charging pad where the transmission selector used to be (the selector is at the steering wheel now). The air vents and the HVAC panel have been reworked, too, and a new round dial has been added to the wheel near the 4-hour mark.

The base 2024 Panamera benefits from an optimized 2.9-liter V6 engine now capable of 353 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The car accelerates 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and maxes out at 272 km/h. Opting for the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4 spec reduces the sprint time to 4.8 seconds, but drops the top speed slightly – to 270 km/h.

The hybrid flagship spec combines a 4.0-liter V8 with an updated eight-speed PDK transmission featuring a built-in electric motor. The motor now outputs a solid 190 PS for a total of 680 PS. The torque is just as impressive at 930 Nm. The supercar launches in 3.2 seconds and doesn’t hit its speed ceiling until 315 km/h. An optimized 25.9-kWh battery lets it run 93 km on electric power alone.
