The Red Bull Racing e-Scooter RS 1200 AT has passed the necessary regulatory hurdles to be a production model in the EU. The RS 1200 AT e-scooter comes with dual suspension and a rear 500W motor. It has a top speed of 25 km/h and its 960Wh battery delivers a range of 60 km.
The new Red Bull e-scooter with its rated
top speed of 25 km/h is not approved for use on public roads in some EU
countries like Germany and Switzerland. It is however allowed in Austria and some
other countries in the Eurozone. There are four-speed modes for the RS 1200 AT
and it can move through gradients up to 33º. The standing e-scooter has 13-inch
pneumatic tires, which combine with its telescopic fork and rear shock
absorbers for a smooth ride.
The Redbull RS 1200 AT has front and rear
disc brakes, a magnesium alloy frame, and dimensions of 136 x 61 x 128cm. It
weighs 41kg and can carry loads up to 100kg. The scooter is foldable, which
reduces the scooter to about half of its 128cm height. It features a 3.96-inch
LED display between its handlebars, as well as LED front and rear lights,
reflectors, indicators, and a horn. The LED display of the RS 1200 AT e-scooter
shows the ride statistics and battery status.
The Red Bull E-Scooter RS 1200 is priced
at € 2,599 (US$ 2,849) although its original price is € 2,999 (US$ 3,287). Red
Bull has not provided any global availability information for the new e-scooter
at this time.
