GAC has facelifted its Aion S Plus sedan and will be selling it with the suffix ‘Max’ attached. Prices start from 149,900 Yuan, Car News China reports. The second facelift brings us a revised front end with storied headlights, new bumpers, hood cover and trunk lid. The dimensions (L/W/H) are 4,863 x 1,890 x 1,515 millimeters with 2,760 mm of wheelbase. This means the Max version is 53 mm larger than the Plus and gets 10 mm of extra wheelbase.

Dashboard and air vent layouts are the biggest highlights inside. The transmission selector has moved to the steering column and a wireless charger for a couple of phones has appeared on the console, next to a small compartment for miscellanea. The instrument gauges and the multimedia UI have been redesigned, too.

There are five trim versions to choose from. Four of them offer the same 204-PS electric motor, while the flagship spec gets a superior 245-PS motor. The drive is on the front wheels in any case. The sprint time to 100 km/h equals 7.5 seconds in the four lesser specs and 6.8 seconds in the top spec.

There are two battery sizes as well – 59.5 kWh and 69.7 kWh. The former is good for 510 km of WLTC-rated range, and the latter inches out an advantage with 610 km. The top trim starts from 202,900 Yuan.
