Although Audi has already revealed a lot about the upcoming Q6 e-tron Sportback, it has yet to officially unveil it. That means that it still has time to get a bit of testing in, giving its camouflage team a bit of work. This example, spotted by our reader Thomas, was caught charging at a public station in Europe. Based on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed with Porsche, we know that this Audi could be charging at a rate of up to 270 kW here.
The upcoming electric crossover can go
from 10 to 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes. That’s an impressive feat
since the Q6 e-tron’s battery pack has 100 kWh of storage capacity, giving it a
range of up to 600 km on the WLTP cycle. The impressive driving
range will be achieved by the standard version of the crossover, which will be
powered by two motors making a combined 396 hp. On the other
hand, the higher-performance SQ6 e-tron will make up to 510 hp.
Inside, the model will benefit from a
massive infotainment system, utilizing an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster
and a 14.5-inch center touchscreen display. The front passenger will get a
10.9-inch screen with a shutter display that blocks the driver’s view, allowing
the passenger to watch a movie while the vehicle is in motion. The whole system
will be powered by Android Automotive and will come with a digital assistant
that learns about the driver to understand their needs better. The system will
be able to suggest quicker routes and recommend that a driver turn on their
heated seats when the temperature drops.
The Q6 e-tron will also come with
augmented reality that will project information, such as directions, onto the
road. Other interior features include a 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound
system. Audi is expected to lift the veil on the 2025 Q6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron
Sportback quite soon, so check back soon for full details and uncamouflaged
photos of its next-generation EV.
