Yuanhang, a premium vehicle brand recently created in China by Dayun Group, has launched its first production car on its domestic market. It’s a six-seater SUV called H8, available for 349,800–559,800 Chinese Yuan (US$ 49,400–79,000). The soft-roader is sized 5,230 x 2,015 x 1,760 millimeters large with 3,126 mm between the axles. It has three pairs of seats inside.

In its most basic form, the H8 comes pre-equipped with a Level 2 self-driving system capable of lane keeping and emergency braking. Lane change assist, highway assist and traffic jam assist are also provided by default. Buyers can choose between single-motor/RWD and dual-motor/AWD configurations. The former produces a solid 340 PS and 400 Nm of torque. It can be optioned with an 88.42-kWh battery or a larger 100-kWh one. The CLTC-rated driving ranges amount to 610 and 700 km, respectively.

AWD is available in as many as three different trims. The two cheaper ones use 340-PS motors at both axles, but the rear motor has higher peak torque. The battery options are the same as above, but the ranges are reduced to 560 and 650 km, respectively.

The flagship trim gets two superior 354-PS motors, the most torque and the biggest 150-kWh battery that lets it cover up to 950 km on a charge. It also sprints 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and takes half an hour to top up from 20 to 80 percent.
