The new Geely Galaxy L9 is envisioned as the next flagship SUV of the automaker’s electrified Galaxy lineup. There is just one darkened teaser pic of the car so far – the rest of the gallery should give you an idea of what other Galaxy vehicles look like. The letter L in the model designation denotes a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a particularly large battery pack. Geely also puts a letter E on its all-electric models, so this one isn’t it.

Judging by certain details like side view cameras instead of mirrors and “hand-drawn” door handles, what we deal with here is a design study, rather than a finalized production car. It is officially set to debut in Beijing on Thursday, April 25.
