Hozon Auto currently doesn’t offer its Neta S sedan in any other body styles, but a five-door wagon prototype has just been spotted running tests on the roads in China. The local media believe that the company is preparing a big mid-generational refresh for the Neta S, and will unveil the wagon version on the same day as the updated saloon.
Rumor has it the car will switch to using
an improved Shanhai 2.0 platform with an 800-volt electric system, more
efficient motors and better batteries. It will allegedly also gain a modern
self-driving system based on a LiDAR.
