The latest Porsche Cayenne has been praised for its handling and performance, but some owners may find its looks kind of understated. German tuner TechArt stepped in for those in need of a head-turning bodykit, which can be optionally combined with a beefier sound and a few extra horses. TechArt is no stranger to the Cayenne, as it has been offering tuning packages for the popular Porsche SUV for ages. Its latest products have been upgraded to be compatible with the facelifted third generation of the model, both for the standard and coupe SUV bodystyles.
The new bodykit comprises a pronounced
extension for the front bumper, which is combined with intake garnish and a
full carbon hood. This setup brings the Cayenne closer to the Lamborghini Urus
in terms of visual drama, although the oversized splitter is not for everyone. From
the side, TechArt offers a range of wheel options starting at 21 inches, paired
with sharper side skirts. At the rear, the Cayenne Coupe sports a prominent
roof-mounted wing and an extended adaptive spoiler, while the standard Cayenne
gets a double carbon fiber spoiler setup. Both models feature a rear bumper
with extra fins and a larger diffuser.
The interior options include Alcantara and
leather upholstery, with customizable colored stitching and carbon fiber
accents. While TechArt doesn’t offer chassis upgrades, they claim the new
bodykit enhances “balanced aerodynamics at any speed.” More importantly,
TechArt’s performance kit boosts the Cayenne S’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 by up
to 89 hp and 120 Nm. This raises the output to 557
hp and 720 Nm of torque, surpassing the GTS.
Additionally, owners looking to enhance
their SUV’s sound should consider TechArt’s sports exhaust system. It can be
paired with either the standard tailpipes or upgraded tips in carbon or
titanium.
