ROLLS-ROYCE WRAITH ST. JAMES EDITION
Rolls-Royce has
unveiled yet another bespoke Wraith model, this time bringing not only styling
tweaks but also a slight power increase.
Featuring a bright red
body color, the Rolls-Royce Wraith St. James Edition also stands out thanks to
aluminum front grille and window surrounds, as well as chrome door handles. The
big coupe rides on silver five-spoke alloy wheels that feature gloss black
accents.
Besides the styling
upgrades, Rolls-Royce has tweaked the 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine to
produce 632 hp (8 hp more than the standard model), making it the most powerful
production car ever built by Rolls-Royce.
Peak torque remains
unchanged at 800 Nm (590 lb-ft), available from 1500 rpm. The upcoming convertible
version of the Wraith, which will be called Dawn, will be powered by the same
engine, possibly with the 8 hp boost included.
Rolls-Royce gave no
details about how many Wraith St. James models will be built.
