BMW
Concept Path 22
The
BMW Concept Path 22 is a surfing-inspired concept motorcycle based on the
company's R nineT bike.
The
BMW Concept Path 22 is named after a path on the French coast, which is
inaccessible by car, which surfers use to get to a stretch of beach on the
Atlantic coast of France. To keep up the surfer theme, the concept features a
surfboard rack and a funky paint job courtesy of an artist named Ornamental
Conifer.
The
beautifully machined aluminium surfboard rack, which features leather holding
straps, carries a surfboard designed specifically for the bike. Surfboard
manufacturers Dyer Brand were drafted in to create two boards for the concept,
one long and one short.
Despite
the fact the BMW Concept Path 22 was conceived as a machine to take off road.
It has plenty of fine details and craftsmanship to show its show bike origins.
There's a tan leather seat with matching leather handlebar grips, integrated
handebar turn signals, and other milled add-on components.
Powering
the BMW Concept Path 22 is the same air-cooled, 110 horsepower, flat-twin
engine used in the R nineT production bike.
