Redback Spyder
The
Carbontech Redback Spyder is a design from Australian kit car makers Carbontech
Replicas. The Redback Spyder is powered by a Chevrolet LS1 V8 engine mated to a
6 speed Getrag transaxle. Power output for the V8 is 450 bhp and up, with 550
Nm of torque available from 1500-6300 rpm.
On
top of the semi-monocoque space frame chassis is a curvaceous body formed from
carbon kevlar with a heat proof foam core. Other carbon fiber parts include a
rear wing with integral rear brake light, front and rear ground effects tray,
and a ram air induction scoop over the windscreen.
Inside
the Carbontech Redback Spyder are 2 bucket MOMO race seats, pedals and
harnesses, a fully adjustable MOMO steering wheel, a custom instument cluster,
leather, aluminium or carbon fibre trim and a custom sound system with DVD
player.
