Irmscher
Inspiro
Opel
tuners and manufacturers of aftermarket styling products Irmscher created the
Inspiro concept car for the 2002 Geneva Motor Show. Built
as a design study displaying various Irmscher products, the Inspiro stood
little chance of being brought to production.
The
Irmscher Inspiro was powered by a 3.0 litre V6 from General Motors developing
225 horsepower - giving the Inspiro concept a projected 0-60 mph time of 5.8
seconds.
While
the proportions of the Inspiro are classic in shape and size, the detailing is
highly contemporary - if somewhat excessive. Underneath the composite bodywork
is a tubular chassis constructed from aluminium and composite material.
