Skoda
Superb SportLine
Skoda
has introduced the new Superb SportLine and announced that it will have world
debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA) later this month. The event
will also witness the premier of the Skoda Superb Combi.
Skoda
had earlier announced that the new Superb will not feature a performance
oriented vRS variant but instead will offer a Superb variant with a sporty look
and feel. So, the SportLine variant was probably what the company had in mind.
The new Superb SportLine will be available in both the estate and hatchback
versions.
The
SportLine variant will be offered with all current drivetrains in the Superb
line-up except the base 1.4-litre TSI petrol and 1.6-litre TDI diesel engines. It features
18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels with a sport chassis and 15 mm lower suspension
setup.
Interior
features include a three-spoke steering wheel along with the gear knob trimmed
in leather, sport seats with exclusive upholstery, tinted windows, aluminium
finish pedals and carbon inspired trim embellishments.
Skoda
will also present the Superb Combi with enhanced levels of comfort featuring
Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) with Driving Mode Select at the motor show. The
estate version comes with noteworthy features like a new three-zone climate
control along with a panoramic sunroof, heated seats, rain-light sensor and
wirelessly heated windscreen among others.
