Tata Ace Mega



Tata Motors’ commercial division has launched a new variant of the highly successful Tata Ace in Mumbai. Dubbed as the Tata Ace Mega, it is priced at INR 4.35 Lakhs, and slots between the Tata Ace HT and Tata Super Ace. The Tata Ace Mega is 10-11% more costlier than the entry-level Tata Ace HT.




It is powered by the 4th generation 2-cylinder 800 cc DiCOR diesel engine producing a power output of 40 hp. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, and can enable the Tata Ace Mega to hit a best-in class top speed of 90 km/h. As for fuel efficiency, it is capable of returning an ARAI-certified fuel mileage of 18.5 km/liter.

The Tata Ace Mega comes with a rated payload of 1 ton, courtesy of a re-inforced load body. It rides on wheels with 14 inch tires, has a high ground clearance of 175 mm and gradeability of 30%.


Exterior features include a body colored front bumper, new front protective wheel arch eyebrows, new sporty body graphics, wide angle ORVM, extended wheel arch, body graphics and wide ORVMs. Inside, it comes with a lockable glovebox, provision for a music system, mobile charging facility, digital clock and full fabric seat upholstery.
