Abarth
is rolling out a Trofeo Edition of its 595 pocket rocket destined exclusively
for the UK market.
The
main idea behind this special edition is the £ 1,275 worth of extra equipment
for which you only pay an additional £ 540 compared to a base 595. It can be had
with a Record Grey, Scorpione Black or Officina Red body paint combined with
color-coded brake calipers with matching wheel center caps. It sits on 17-inch
Formula alloys and comes with a carbon-like Abarth decal set along with tinted
windows and "Trofeo Edition" badging.
Power
comes from the familiar four-cylinder, 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine
with 140 PS (103 kW) which grants the Abarth 595 Trofeo Edition with a 0-62 mph
(0-100 km/h) quick run in 7.9 seconds and a respectable 127 mph (204 km/h) top
speed.
You
will have to act fast as Abarth plans on selling just 250 units in United Kingdom
and they have already opened the order books.
